u/s update

We went for our NT scan tonight.  I was so awesome to see our baby look like a baby!  The hb was a healthy 159 bpm and we measuring 2 days ahead.  On the negative side, our baby will need a stern talking to when he/she gets here because he was not very cooperative.  The tech couldn't get the measurements she needed so I have to go back tomorrow.  I'm in such awe right now!

That is great.  I remember that time well.  It was awesome to see them swimming around with their little stubby arms and legs.  And Mia did the same thing when we went to Womb with a View.  She kept putting her hands in front of her face, trying to keep us from getting a good pic.

Glad it went well!! I never had an NT scan. I guess it's optional? Is that the one they do along with the bloodwork for Downs?

Aww I'm glad you got to see the baby.

Try doing an NST w/ 2, I had to go 3 times to get all the measurements.  But look on teh bright side you get to look at your baby more!

Yes, the NT scan is the one where they look for markers that could indicate chromosomal problems.  My ob says she has everyone do it unless you specifically decline.  I took it as an oppurtunity to see the baby.
