<1 hr at Lake Balboa turned in to 1.5 hrs of...
cleaning bird poop off stroller wheels and out of the bottom of our shoes. Gross!!!
My hard working DH scrubbed our shoes and washed the stroller, all the while getting a nice sun burn, on my parents' front lawn yesterday.
And all we wanted to do was feed the birds and ducks our way-too-old loaf of bread. Nat loved chasing the birds, and to my many shouts to stop, loed running right up to the water's edge. Jos has a great story of how a big goose (not sure if it really was one) snipped at her had to get the bread from her.
Then we all napped at my parents' house! Yay!
