Michelle Obama's attire for the festivities

So what do you think Michelle will be wearing tonight for the ball? What have you thought about her fashion choices so far?

Re: Michelle Obama's attire for the festivities

  • I think her outfit today was unique, beautiful, and very appropriate. I'm interested to see what her dress tonight looks like. So far, definitely better than election night.
  • I like it a lot. I just worry about her being cold but I'm sure she's so excited she doesn't feel it yet.

I hope tonight she wears something just as colorful!

  • I love Michelle Obama and her strength and intelligence and poise.  I usually love her clothing, and it's hard for me to admit.... but I just didn't like her inaugural dress.  I know it's all the rage, but I don't like the one shoulder thing... and the textured fabric made it seem like she was larger than she is.  (imho) Loved the day look, though, and am excited to see a REAL woman inspiring fashion as opposed to some of the anorexic and "empty" cultural icons out there.
  • I actually thought it was really flattering on her. Some of her other dresses made it look like she had a bit of a tummy, but I didn't think she looked that way at all in her ball gown.
  • I liked the ball gown. The one strap took a bit of getting used to but I think it grew on me. In general though, I like either straps or no straps.
