OMG! That story about the elderly couple is scary!!! What the heck were 90 year olds doing going on a cruise alone?
Glad you guys had a fun time ??Now could you please convince my husband to take cruise !?!?
Re: ~*~ Lisa ~*~ Pea
butting in...yeah that story is odd and so sad. but also glad you all had fun!
i'm with your husband brandy, no cruises for me. we took a cruise and i was MISERABLE. my husband and i decided that there would be nothing worse in life then if you were in a verizon store on a cruise ship (our two least favorite places to be). ?that would be our "hell". ?
Hey lady!
I can't believe you have just 3 weeks left )
Why was your cruise so miserable? I LOVED the one I went on several years ago & have been begging Moo to go on one. I *think* he'd have a great time once he was finally there. Now Marley... She's another story )?
well i had just found out i was pregnant so i felt ill the entire time. i hated being trapped in a tiny room with no windows. i think i would have been seasick even without the pregnancy. and then to top it off i couldn't drink. we were on our way to mexico and i COULDN'T DRINK. it was like the only thing to do there. so i was just absolutely miserable. it was not my kind of relaxing vacation unfortunately.?
glad you were able to enjoy it. everyone that was with us loved it. we promised each other that we would never go on a cruise again. we knew that after a couple of years passed, we would forget how much we hated it and someone would tempt us to go on one. but we have a promise to never let the other one give in. lol.?
I know, right? Ugh. People believe they jumped. Clearly...because they had the privacy sign on the entire time, locked the door twice from the inside and were NEVER seen by anyone. The shi**y part was how this impacted the voyage. Imagine this huge room of thousands of people stuck in a freakin' hanger, all annoyed, standing for over 3 hours straight. Yeah, it was a nightmare. Sal was fuming pissed but there was nothing we could do. I was just thankful I went against my friends' advice on wearing heels. Pssh...thank gawd I wore flip flops. Imagine my feet? The sucky part is that we missed the sunset...dinner was rushed...and we both crashed about 11pm.
Oh gawsh, you should convince Moody!!! I love cruises. I don't love the feeling of swaying days after you get off though. I love meeting and making new friends, eating good food 24/7 and sleeping on thousand dollar beds with thousand dollar linens. What's not to love? We had a great time. It was my second cruise and Sal's first and definitely not our last!
