Lake Buena Vista Restaurant Recs

I'll be staying at the Lake Buena Vista Palace on V-Day with DH and was wondering where are some great places to eat in that area. TIA!

  • It depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for not too expensive but still nice you have Bahamma Breeze, Olive Garden, Carrabbas and Kobe Japanese Steakhouse about 2 miles away. Otherwise there are some awesome restauarants at the Disney resorts like California Grill that you may be able to get a reservation at. My favorite is Le Cellier at Epcot
  • Thanks! Is that Le Cellier French cuisine? Is it inside the park?

  • For a special occasion dinner, Bluezoo at the Swan & Dolphin is one of my all-time faves.
  • If you plan it right, you will be able to see the Disney Fireworks from the Cali Grill.

  • That sounds neat! How do I plan it right to see the fireworks from there?

That place looks soo good!! Unfortunently, DH is allergic to most seafood. Tongue Tied

They do offer more than just seafood. Here's a link to their menu:

You can look up the time of the Magic Kingdom fireworks on disneyworld.com. Or when you call to make a dining reservation (407-WDW-DINE) you can also ask them to check the time of the fireworks and try to make a reservation within an hour of the fireworks. Unfortunately, I'd say that those prime time slots are probably already booked up for Valentine's Day.

  • There are a lot of options for dinner in the Downtown Disney Area.  I believe there is a shuttle from your hotel too.  There is a Rainforest Cafe, Bongos, House of Blues, Raglin Road, and some others.

Le Cellier is in Epcot at the Canada Pavillion.

  • Phew!! Finally was able to make reservations at Blue Zoo! Everything else is all booked! But i'm excited, that place looks yummy. Thank you ladies for the recommendations!
