So I finally have some entertainment on my (hopefully) last day here. The girl in the room next to me has become an increasingly difficult patient. I feel bad for her because she's been here since she was 16 weeks and she is now 27 weeks. When we have our luncheons on Friday all she does is complain. The other day her husband created a ruckus because our breakfast was late and they had to call security. Yesterday morning I heard her yelling at the food service people and then her doctor that there were chemicals on her food and they were trying to target her. This morning she demanded to see her chart and the nurse called her doctor to let him know and she yelled at her for calling. It's just entertaining at this point because nobody even wants to go in her room. I know it's tough being here but all the nurses are very friendly and I do feel they do their best to make us as comfortable as possible.
Re: Hospital entertainment
I'm a nurse and she sounds like a nightmare! I can't imagine how taxing it would be to be stuck in the hospital that long though.
I hope you get to go home today!
