Y&R...I'm confused

So is Catherine really dead and Marge is pretending to be Catherine? I don't get to see it everyday.

Marge is actually the one that died in the car accident. Catherine lost her memory and she is just now starting to get bits and pieces back. Merve, or whatever that guy's name is, was a friend of Marge's and found Catherine in the river when he was on his way to go fishing. He thought it was Marge and took her back to his house because that is where Marge was staying. He didn't even know it wasn't Marge until last week when Catherine started remembering bits of stuff.

who are those two guys that are trying to swindle Esther? They said something about that they can leave Marge out of it since Esther was "falling" for the one con artist. So that kind of made me think that Marge was faking it trying to be Catherine.

I'm slightly confused about this too. The guy who likes Ester is some new guy. The other guy is the same guy that helped Marge impersonate (sp?) Catherine and kidnap Catherine years ago. I don't think they know that the real Marge is the one who is actually dead.
