Paradise Point
FI and I went there yesterday to look around at the site and get some information. That was FI first place that we have looked at together and he loved it. So any tips, information or advice about this venue. Have you or someone else you know been married there?

I never come on this board anymore... but that is where I got married
That was in 2005 but it was wonderful! I loved the grounds, the food was good (no rubber chicken-type stuff), the staff were great to work with. They gave us each a HUGE suite to get ready in which was way more than I expected.
We had a great experience with them and I'm really glad we went with it
We used the big stone-paved lawn and the Dockside room (I think that was the name) - gorgeous room overlooking the bay (it has the big deck attached), huge windows
My FIL's family flew in from the mid-west and my family came over from England and Australia - I still hear about how gorgeous it was
Congrats on your upcoming wedding and good luck picking a place! I have tons of photos so page me if you'd like to see them - when I'm Nesting I'm usually on the What's Cooking board but I'll try to get back over here more, too
I miss the SD board!
