In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Facebook rookie question
Ok, so I finally freakin' caved and joined FB. I feel like an old fart trying to figure it all out?

If I get a friend request and don't want to accept - if I "ignore" them, will they know I didn't accept them?

I'm fairly certain that if you ignore a friend request, the sender isn't notified. In fact, I don't think you can even see what requests you've sent, so you can't 'check-up' on the request to see if you even sent it.
Also, if you accept a friend request and later decide you don't want to be their friend anymore, you can remove them and they won't be notified. You just won't show up on their friend list anymore. So unless they're constantly reviewing their friend list or consciously try to find you on their list, they won't know that you've 'un-friended' them.
