Hi Ladies!
My name is Joan and I am originally from Maryland. I generally hang out on the Baltimore Knot and Nest. The boards are active over there, but I can't help but feel a little out of place since I don't live in Maryland anymore. I moved to NYC for college (went to FIT to study photography) and met DH in the process. We got married in September and moved from Manhattan to Huntington. DH had been commuting from the city to Melville everyday for his job so we decided to finally take the lunge and move out here. I work at an accounting firm in Huntington and he works for a camera company in Melville.
Besides the two of us we have one very rambunctious puppy. He will be celebrating his first birthday next month! When he was 6 months old he broke his leg down and Coindre Hall and had to have 2 surgeries to get it fixed. At 9 months old he got into my sewing equipment and swallowed a needle. Emergency surgery followed. Now I'm almost positive he's come down with a cold. Anyone know a good vet that isn't an emergency vet? We tend to spend most of our time there...

Hope Huntington is treating you well, I love the Book Revue in the village. But I do know a Vet, who is actually in Huntington. We took my dog there for years. (he passed away about 3 years ago), but this guy was always nice. Dr. Alan M. Coren, DVM
