Yay, end of the week! How's everyone doing/feeling?
I'm feeling great! After skipping 1 day, I'm back to the Wii Fit. And I've found out the purpose of the boxing--it's for your arms! Mine are very sore after the 10 minutes of it. Tomorrow is my weigh in day with my real scale (as opposed to the one on the Wii Fit, though I'm totally down on that), so I'm excited.

it's my birthday weekend (yes, my birthday lasts the WHOLE weekend, including today), so I'm not going a damn thing but eat, drink and be merry
I lost 3 lbs this week, I'm allowed to do that, right?
I was super sore yesterday, so I skipped kickbox, but the H did make me get up and go use the elliptical for 30 minutes this morning. We are having friends over tonight, but I still have 19 flex points through Monday, so I should be good. And I plan to swim the next three days in a row.
B: milk with instant breakfast, 2 Kashi cookies
L: yogurt with granola & berries; carrots
S: string cheese
Ugh...yesterday was a bad day for me. I was OK until mid-afternoon, then I just was starving. (this tends to happen to me right before my period) I had let my husband go to the grocery store on Wednesday night, and he bought crap, which I then ate. Then I had a book club meeting last night, filled with lots of good snacks and wine. I also have 6 cupcakes leftover from the batch I made, so now those are in the house again.
Now it's raining so I couldn't go for my run this morning. Blah. And I've got a happy hour tonight, filled with free food and drinks. Crap. I'm hoping the weather clears up so I can run later. And my period has started so I'm just a cranky mess today.
No idea what I'm eating today. Probably yogurt for breakfast and hummus and pita for lunch.

I'm just doing eh. I started feeling cruddy yesterday and still kind of do. Could be my period starting, could just be run down/stressed. So I skipped my workout class and am skipping today, and hopefully will be ready to run both days this weekend.
edited to add a confession: last night I ordered a large thin crust Papa John's pizza and ate half of it while vegging on the couch and watching Battlestar Gallactica. I used the ol' "but I don't feel good" excuse and don't regret it for a minute.
This week has been a mess, with all the inauguration activities and family in town for the funeral. I haven't worked out since Saturday, unless you count the miles of walking and hours of holding myself up while being pushed by crowds :-P I didn't make it to yoga last night b/c I was emotionally drained from the funeral.
I brought my stuff to go swim after work, but I don't really feel like going... Hubs has been out of town, gets back tonight, and we're going to a birthday party when he gets here. if I swim, I have to redo hair and makeup, blah blah blah...
I feel whiny. Long week, I guess. But I did go to WF last night and stock up on healthy foods (eating grapes now...) I made chicken tamale pie and now have five frozen lunches from leftovers, and I bought stuff to make pasta sauce for quick meals. So, I'm in good shape going into the weekend.
I was down 1.6 this week, which brought me back to my pre-Christmas, pre-vacation weight. That was good
But I've been seriously hampered by this cold I've got. I skipped the gym both yesterday and today...and I feel like a sloth (even though I can't stop coughing...)
The bright side? This cold means I have absolutely no desire to eat so...I'm just eating what I need to because I know I've got to eat, but there's definitely no snacking or cravings or anything like that. A weird plus, but I'll take it.
