Where can I buy pom-poms?
Hi ladies -
I was going to buy my superbowl decorations online and procrastinated. Now they won't arrive in time.
I am going to be in Thousand Oaks area on Saturday. Do you know if there are any party stores that carry pom-poms?

some thoughts...
Halloween Superstores (some are open all year...the one I can think of is in Norwalk)
Target, Toys R Us, Walmart...look for High School Musica stuff in the toy section...red & white for East High (come on Disney Girl...I know you're crushing on Efron)
Hey B - did you try that shop in Loredo Plaza next to Gelsons?
I would say make them. they are very easy and you can match the tissue paper to your color theme for the teams playing.
Fold the tissue in half, on the folded side, draw a line about 2 inches in (the line is parallel to the fold. then just cut strips up to the line. Open the paper and roll up. Once rolled, I would just use masking or shipping tape to seal. Fluff as needed.

Sadly, I can't make them. Marley can destroy a roll of t.p. in 2.5 seconds. The pom-poms would be shredded before I even finsihed making them. I need plastic or mylar that is Marley proof

call a dance studio and see if they sell cheer equipment. In HB, we have Moore's Dance Studio. Not sure if there is one in your area? That's where we bought our poms', gloves and bags for cheer/dance.
