Cafes/shops btw LA and Laguna?
Hi from Philly! I'm going to be in Laguna for a work thing and trying to get together with a friend who will be in LA. Any good places to catch up between Laguna and LA? A cute little town to walk around would be great. People watching, dessert, coffee, etc... THANKS!

Belmont Shores, which is in Long Beach. I think that would be a cute place that would be a mid-point for you two to meet up.

Other beachy cute towns are Newport/Balboa Island and Huntington Beach.
