New To Virginia!
Hi! My hubby and I moved here in May right after our wedding. We moved to Danville VA from Orange County California. We really like living here but we are having trouble meeting couples our age. Everyone is really nice but just not sure where all the young (23-28)couples hang out at! Does anyone live near Danville that can offer some advice? Its been really hard for me since i left all my friends and family, so that my husband could go after his career. Crew Chief for VW Race Team. So i really dont have anyone to do anything with besides my hubby!

My Grandma lives around Danville. It's not a big city so I understand that your having trouble meeting couples your age.
I just re-read your post...totally left out advice and the fact that we drive a VW Rabbit! Love it. Where does he race - in Danville or Martinsville?
Roanoke is about an hour from me and I'd imagine around that or less than for you...not sure though. A lot of people go to Roanoke to shop and there is more of a downtown scene there. Also, maybe look into Christiansburg or Blacksburg (even though I'm a UVa/Charlottesville gal myself...but that's about 2 or so hours from you)
