OK Nestie needing some help!!
Hello!! My husband is about to be stationed out there this summer. We will be based out of the Coronado Naval Base. He is currently deployed so I am on the house hunt by myself! I would like some ideas on good areas to live. We are not necessarily wanting to stay in San Diego...we don't mind living in a suburb as long as it is fairly close to base. We are really looking for an apartment (preferably 2 beds) and I would really appreciate some suggestions! TIA ladies!!
No....click me!!!! Cause I'm the wedding bio!
Bloggin it up!

Some areas I like that are worth looking into: Rancho Penasquitos, Scripps Ranch and Tierrasanta.
If you don't mind the "activity" Mission Valley has many apartments and condo complexes and is centrally located.
Point Loma is a close option...suburbs & close to the beach.
In our old complex we had a ton of guys who were in the Navy...we were in little italy, downtown. Great guys!
I'd suggest downtown or point loma...both are very close to coronado & are just great places to live
There are 2 issues with where your DH will be stationed. 1- it is very expensive to live in Coronado and 2- getting across the bridge and onto base can be a PITA if there is a ship returning to port. Other than that, Coronado is lots of fun and very pretty!
You can live close to downtown or in Chula Vista (you can access coronado via the silver strand instead of the bridge)
Are you going to work? Whats your budget? Rents out here are ridiculous and most of the cheap rent is going to have your DH commuting 45-60 mins each way to work.
