Did anyone else see The Eagles last night?

OMG... it was so good it was ridiculous. I knew it would be fantastic, but it was above and beyond all my hopes and dreams, lol. I remember watching the Hell Freezes Over concert like 10 years ago and thinking "omg, if I ever get to see that, I'll crap!" Yeah. Crapping! LMAO. SO worth the ridiculous amount of money it cost.

Amy - I know you went... did you enjoy Joe as much as I did? LOL

Re: Did anyone else see The Eagles last night?

  • We were in the upper deck and it was still awesome.  I could have sat there another three hours...so unbelievable.  I couldn't believe how good they sounded.  It was as good as the cd.  And yes, Joe is still my hero.  When he sang Life's Been Good I wanted to jump up and down like a ten year old at a Jonas Brothers concert.  Ahhhhhhhhhhh I'm still crapping! LOL

I can't wait for them to come back!!!

  • We were in section 8U and in row B right at the bottom, so we couldn't complain! Were you the youngest couple in your section? Because we were. LOL. I know that means we're awesome and have great taste in music... we appreciate the old fine things, haha!

I tried to keep myself under control... like you said, I didn't want to look like the kid at the Jonas Brothers concert, lmao.

This guy in front of us... he was so weird... short little bald man, ok... the song he got most excited about... Boys of Summer.... LMAO. He went nuts. I am like, you come to an Eagles concert and the song you get most excited about is the Don Henley's solo career in the 80's? LOL I really like that song, but is that the song I got most excited over? LOL. Not quite!

  • We were there.  We were in the upper section.  We saw them in Atlanta back in May and it was the exact same show.  But I still LOVED it.  It is just sureal watching them play the songs that I have listened to for forever.

There was a pretty good mix of ages where we were sitting.  There was a guy in front of me with a cane who got really into it.  Instead of clapping, he would hit his cane on the ground.

During the break there was a guy sitting around us who said "They're pretty good, but man that band Chicago...".  Haha.

I even got my picture made in front of the cow skull in the hotel lobby!

  • I wish I could have gone!!  I know they put on a great concert!
