I want a new house!
My brother and SIL are house-hunting and we went with them yesterday to look at some. We saw some really nice houses. I wish we were the ones looking to buy. For now I'll just live through them when they get their new house. *sigh*

I feel your pain. We're renting a house right now, but we plan on building our own one day. At least it opened up a discussion between DH and I on what we want in the future.
when we couldn't sell out TH in NC and decided to just buy another TH in chicagoland until we could afford a SFH (ie, sell the NC TH), i wanted a SFH and just submitted, b/c it was the right thing to do.
so, i am right with you and want a new house, too! i have a coworker that was house hunting and just had an offer accepted. it was funny hearing her rationalizations on various things. esp. in light of what i have learned/gathered here on thenest.
