its wierd how the universe answers you, huh? not 20 minutes after i posted my vent this morning I recieved this email (names changed to protect the innocent):

Mrs. Schr***,

Thank you for your interest in foster care and your time in following up. The Department is very committed to increasing our pool of foster parents and your enthusiasm is just what we need. I am the Area Director of the Manchester Office and do not oversee the foster care division. I have included *** **** the manager and *** *******, the Program Director of the Foster Care Division. Either one of them, will follow up with you.  Again, thank you for your interest and **** will be in touch with you.

hurray for some kind of progress.

Oh, that's fantastic! And it's great to have names (if you didn't have them before). Hopefully seeing themselves named in the email will motivate them to follow up!

It just seems like the wrong people are fostering so I get over-excited when good people want to do it!  (Can you tell this is one of my soap box issues?)  Oh man I can't wait til we get to do it!  Thanks for being the trail blazers on this board!
