Peg Perego P3 or Aria strollers

Does anyone have these strollers and if so can you tell what you like or dislike about them?

Re: Peg Perego P3 or Aria strollers

  • I'd rather go with a snap n' go stroller frame that you can use with your infant car seat and then later purchase a toddler type stroller that fits your needs when that time comes. Peg Perego makes fantastic car seats:) Honestly, I feel like we buy strollers without knowing what we need them for. Will you need a jogging stroller, a light weight stroller or something just efficient for store shopping/theme parks? I've been begging my cousins to hold off on selecting their stroller because often times when you buy before you have the baby, you end up with a stroller you NEVER use.  Especially those baby stroller/car seat combos. Those things are usually pieces of crap!

    Just my .2 cents:)

  • btw- I found amazon.com to be a great place to research reviews. BRUs also has a great review section.

  • We have the Aria and we like it.  At first the safety belt system seemed weird (you hook it to the back as your putting the child in, but it comes off again once they're belted in) - this turned out to be very nice.  It's nice and light, easy to push and navigate.  The one thing I don't like is the cup holder for the adult - too narrow and not very stable for taller drinks.
  • I really wanted the P3 but when I saw it in the store I was so dissapointed. Cute, yes! Easy to manage, no way! Maybe I'm a little slow or something, but it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to raise/recline the seat, another 20 minutes to figure out how to snap the car seat out of the base and onto the stroller, another 20 minutes to fold it... I swear I'm not stupid but this thing was really difficult to figure out!

We have the Chicco Cortina, and though it's a little heavy, it's easy to use. Plus the car seat it come with in the travel system, the Key Fit 30, was the #1 best saftey rated by Consumer Reports (at least it was 9 mos ago!)

  • I have the Peg Perego and love it.  It is a little heavy, but it is really sturdy and comfortable.  I have not had any others to really compare it to, but from what I have heard, it is not as easy to steer with one hand-I guess the others you can do this, but not really with PP one.

I get soooo many compliments on it every time I go out with it.

  • We bought the Aria as our secondary light weight stroller for travel and when we needed to run a quick errand.  It has a decent size basket, the cup holder is rather flimsy and it doesn't steer as well as our main stroller but it served its purpose and it is extremely lightweight.  It wasn't that expensive either and like the previous poster said the straps can be a bit funky too.  I would recomend it as a secondary/travel stroller but not as your main one.
