Wan or anyone with the maxi cosi infant seat

Since it's such a new brand there are not to many reviews about the seat. So I have a couple of questions. If you don't mind answering them.

Did you have trouble with the buckle?

Did you have trouble or issues with putting it on a shopping cart?

What do you think about the sunshade? Does it stay up?

Thanks!

Re: Wan or anyone with the maxi cosi infant seat

  • i loved the maxi cosi infant seat. it was the lightest one on the market (at least, at that time it was).

it is new in the U.S., but it's a well-known, established brand in europe. ?it meets/exceeds their safety regulations, which are stricter than those here.

we did have some difficulty getting used to the buckle in the beginning, but got used to it after a few tries. ?you have to push it in really hard.

no, no trouble with the shopping cart.

the sunshade stayed up, but we did find that it didn't extend very far. ?if we were driving in just the right direction at just the right time, i ended up draping a blanket over it to keep the sun out of her face. ?that's probably the only thing we didn't like about it.

feel free to ask any other questions. ?good luck!?

  • Thanks for the info, it was very helpful.

My last question is what stroller did you get? I want a snap and go but I'm not sure if they are compatible with the maxi.

  • we bought the quinny. ?it was actually because of our stroller that we ultimately ended up with the maxi cosi (at the time, that was the only compatible infant seat), but we'd already checked it out. ?happy ending!

actually, we have both the quinny buzz and zapp. ?i forget which is which, but the big one stays in my car and the other one is awesome for travel. ?we love both.?
