As most of you know I'm super focus (and overly stressed sometimes) about paying off my cc debt. I've been working a second job for almost a year and have done some serious streamlining of my budget/expenses.
I'm thrilled right now because I just transfered my highest rate card to 0% interest until 1/10. Plus the credit line I just opened is so high I can transfer all my debt over and have 0% interest! omg. I feel a huge weight just lifted.

BTW - posting this stuff just helps me keep motivated to keep going. So no need to respond, but thanks for listening.

Re: Good $$ Update
Hey, that's GREAT!! I did something similar recently when one of my old CC's gave me 0% to "come back" to them. It is an awesome feeling to know you can really work on the debt itself, not just accrued interest.
I moved almost all my CC debt over to that card. I figured out how much I'd have to pay each month to pay it off in the 0% window, and am putting that much into an ING account monthly (paying the min. to the CC until I get close to the end of the 0%, at which point I'll pay in full). So in the end, not only am I not paying interest on that debt, I'm earning 2.4% as I pay it off. Sweet!

Rock on! That's a great idea!
Janet, that's awesome! Not having to pay interest makes such a difference when paying off cc's!!
Also - you inspired us to get back into coupon clipping and use the sales flyer to plan our menu. This week we saved about $20
, and I'm sure as we build our coupon collection, we'll save more!
I like hearing your updates! So many of us are in the same boat here that it's really nice to cheer each other on and share success!
