Hello there ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself, I am new to the South Carolina board. If you want to know anything about me just ask!
Re: hello!
Hey! nice to meet you...
What part of SC are you from?
Hey! ?I don't post over here much, but I'm hoping to change that. ?I moved to SC 2.5 years ago, live in the Columbia/Lexington area. ?
How long have you been married? ?Do you have any kids??
lmt - what part of Simpsonville are you in?? DH and I, MrsZ and caro77 all live in the Woodruff Road/Jonesville Rd/Scuffletown Rd area. Are you in this area or closer to Fairvew Rd area? Just curious. We're in the process of planning a Greenville area Nesties GTG sometime soon. :-)
Anyway, welcome to the SC Board!!
There are so many fun things to do in Pittsburgh! I miss living there alot! They have ice skating downtown outside around christmas time and they have what the call light-up night with a huge christmas tree and all kinds of fun activities to do outside. There is also Penguin games, steeler games and Pirate games she could go to for fun if she likes sporting events. They also have a minor league soccer team called the Riverhounds. They have all kinds of shopping malls and little shopping centers all throughout the city as well. My advice for her would be to just enjoy her time up there. It really is a beautiful city. It good REALLY cold up there though. We want back last march and my blood thinned out alot! haha Its amazing how quickly i forgot how cold it is. If she has any other questions I'd be glad to try and help!
Thank you for the warm welcome!! I live closer to the fairview road area. I actually live off of standing springs road. We bought a house out there in May of 07. We were living off of pelham road but I love living out in Simpsonville so much more! Not as much traffic. Does anyone else live near the fairview road area?
hey again lmt. sorry I'm just now responding..I'm from Piedmont (so I typically don't live near anyone on the board) but it is nice to have another person in the upstate area. You have to be sure to come to our next GTG! I have yet to go to one too but I feel like I've already met everyone.... they are very nice ladies on here!
well anyway...welcome!
Hey, welcome! Mrs. D had me covered with where I'm from. My cousin and his wife and their little girl live off fairview road in the Powderhorn neighborhood.
I grew up about 2 hours south of Pittsburgh. We were there at least once a month to go shopping
