Since there are a few of us posting regularly now I figured I would create a post with a few general questions so we all know a little bit more about each other.
1) Where on LI do you live?

My Answers:
1) I live in Hicksville
2) My whole life. I grew up in Hicksville, went away to school, cmae back, got married and moved to Deer Park. Moved back to Hicksville about 4 months ago
3) I'm 27
4) Just over 3 years. I got married on 1/13/06
5) Just One, Born 5/9/08
6) I love how close we are to everything. The ocean, the city, rural areas, etc...

1) Where on LI do you live? Bellmore
2) How long have you lived on LI My family moved to Merrick when I was going into 5th grade. Before that, I lived in Queens. I moved to Bellmore when I got married.
3) How old are you (only if you want to tell us) 25
4) How long have you been married? 6 months. We got married July 4, 2008. We've been together for quite awhile though. We began dating in high school in 2001.
5) Kids? Not yet. DH & I plan to wait 3-4 years. But believe me, there are days when I get baby rabies really bad.
6) Favorite thing about living on LI I love that we are so close to the beach. It's one of my favorite places to go. I also like being able to just hop on the train to the city to go to a concert, museum, or Broadway show.

2) How long have you lived on LI Since I was 4... so 37 years
3) How old are you (only if you want to tell us) 41
4) How long have you been married? almost 6 months (I was married for 13 years for my first marriage)
5) Kids? I have 2, my hubby has 4 - so we have 6
6) Favorite thing about living on LI We're close enough to pretty much everything and still have decent property. I LOVE our new house and development. And the school district is awesome.

6) Favorite thing about living on LI Living so close to the beach! I grew up in PA, and saw the ocean for the first time when I was in high school. I'm already thinking of how lucky our kids are going to be growing up in walking distance of the sand and surf!

It really is a small island. I liked living in DP, we only really left b/c we had the opportunity to buy the house I grew up in from my parents which is 8 blocks from my IL's. Where in DP did you live?
1) Where on LI do you live? North Babylon-----honestly not at all like it's made out to be
2) How long have you lived on LI...All my life in NB, minus the 4 years I was away for college

4) How long have you been married? July 4, 2007...so 1.5 years
5) Kids? Not yet, possibly within the year, we'll see
6) Favorite thing about living on LI I hate the beach (shock I know) But love fishing on the boats, Also the fact no matter where you are there is a shopping mall within a 15min radius
I have to agree with this! It's nice having a choice of mall all the time.

2) How long have you lived on LI? my whole life. i grew up in riverhead. my husband and i were living in farmingville and just recently bought our first house in rocky point

4) How long have you been married? alittle of 9 months. we were married on april 18, 2008.

i grew up on west 8th street, then moved to the east side for about a year and a half....where were you?
i left west 8th, because my parents sold the house and moved, so i moved in with DH (before we were married) and then in april '07 we bought our condo out here. ?i agree that it was nice there, but i'm definitely happier that we have our own place now!?
