You've inspired me and DH to go to Big Bear. We want Porkchop to see the snow and I can't wait to see how he reacts. Can you recommend some pet friendly lodging? Also, how long did it take you to get there? Thanks!

awww! i've never been paged before! i feel special!
unfortunately, i'm no help w/ lodging. we stayed @ a friend's grandparents place. there's got to be pet friendly places though. there were lots of dogs! i'm sure not everyone we saw are cabin owners. google big bear, or maybe other girls on the board can tell you.
it was a 3 hour drive. cali slept most of the way. directions are in my car. i'll post them later.
it was a lot of fun. cali was in awe (hmm? did i spell that right?) over the horses & a goat. yes, a goat! she was the size of one of his/her horns! i wish we had gotten a picture.
I just looked it up, and apparently there are tons of pet friendly cabins. Now, aside from winter sports, what else is there to do there? We're not into that and we want to include him in whatever we do.
Oh, and we're going to Del Mar around noon on Sunday, so if you guys want to meet up, let me know!
