Should I sell my dress?

Ladies,

I am considering selling my wedding dress...am I crazy? I absolutely love my dress, bu the thing takes up way too much room in my closet. Plus let's be honest, I will never wear it again and it is very unlikely my unborn child will find it appealing in 20+ years.

What do you think? Am I crazy or just being financially smart in these hard economic times?

It would be nice to have a few extra $$.

Have you or would you sell your dress?

Re: Should I sell my dress?

  • The thought has never crossed my mind. ?It has been in its preservation box for the last 5 years in the closet! I would never sell it, no matter what economy we are in.

?We are actually going to use part of it when/if we have a little girl for her baptism gown.

  • I had two dresses and just recently sold one on Craigslist. It had been sitting in it's preserved box taking up way too much room. For me, it was the best choice. And I ended up getting close to 50% of what I paid for it. I was pleased and I made another future bride really happy. She was so excited :o)

    ?

    GL whatever you decide!?

  • I'm saving mine in hopes that we have a girl someday. Then I'll have her baptismal gown made from it.
