As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: I got a new job!!
No more 65 miles each way commute! As my new supervisor put it, now I'll get paid mileage when I have to drive to Harrisburg 
I just have to work up the nerve to break the news to my current supervisor before HR has a chance to get in contact with her. I hope she's not upset. Of course with my luck, this will end up being one of the jobs that gets furloughed to save the state some money 
Oh well. I'm just going to try to be excited about it until I hear otherwise!!

You will love the short commute, I know I do. I couldn't imagine having a long commute ever again!
I don't have a start date yet. I'm told that I will be replacing someone who's retiring in February, so not until after that person goes. New job's HR people have to work it out with current job's people. Lord only knows how long that will take
