got a puppy

I want his brother!! DH and I are talking about getting a new dog (a big dog to stay outside) and I just LOVE great Pyranees.
I just need to convince DH that that would be the perfect dog. I think this puppy picture just might be what I need.
How old is he? Size?
Oh please don't get a dog and make him live outside :-( It's one thing if you're on a farm with a working dog (who has a specific job) but otherwise, dogs are pack animals and need to be with their families. And a dog from a working line in a yard with no specific job to do will likely destroy everything before finding a way out.
Big dogs make great housepets too - all they need is a little training.
He is nine weeks old right now and we go to the vet again on Mon to see how big he is I think he is about 15-20 lbs and he's supposed to get up to 120 lbs. We got him from some guy on the mountain, he is full bred but no papers or anything, which doesn't really matter to me. I am pretty sure he has more because there was another litter that wasn't ready yet, and he had another dog pregnant. He's a great dog so far, really cuddly.
