Wes is planning on putting more flooring up in our attic tomorrow. He is getting a friend to help him. Well I was going to take advantage of the spare time and work in my office/craft room. I told him this.
Well when he is talking to his friend he tells him to bring his wife and 1 and a half year old with him. Okay I am really good friends with his wife and all but I really need to get some work done in there. Not to mention my parents will be here as well and my dad was going to help him, and my mom was going to help me.
See all of this could have been avoided had he listened to me. And probably his friend just assumed his wife would come...without asking her if she has plans. She has been out of town for a week and I bet she has things she wants to do at her house but now her hubby is telling her she needs to come....
Men why don't they listen? And why don't they check with their wives first before making plans?
Re: Why don't husbands listen?
ugh! story of my life!
DH is the worst about doing this to me with the IL's. I'll get up in the morning and pull meat out of the freezer... We'll discuss what we're eating for dinner, but then he'll forget our convo and call his mom and make plans for us to eat at their house. Then he doesn't understand why I get mad- I don't like refreezing thawing meat. UGH.
