How was everyone's weekend? Mine was decent. I ran week 4 of couch to 5k on both Saturday and Sunday, and it went really well. It's hard but so rewarding--when I started I couldn't run for more than one minute straight, and now I am up to multiple five-minute intervals.... wooohoo!
Today I'm going to try to make it to a weight-training class, if I don't get stuck at work.
B: Oatmeal, v8
L: brown rice, morningstar burger
S: blueberries, banana, apple
tomato basil quiche
Re: (#) Monday check in
Everything was great except for yesterday. I definitely overdid it on Super Bowl food, and my tummy was not happy later. Lesson learned.
I think I'm actually going to skip my weigh-in today because of yesterday. I just can't bear to see it, especially since I was lazy and didn't work out today. I'm getting back on track and do well this week.
B: granola
S: yogurt, fruit
L: black bean soup, Kashi crackers
S: clementines
My weekend was ok. I ran Saturday, but starting Saturday afternoon my ankle started bugging me. I think I twisted it. So, I took yesterday and today off. I'm hoping it will be better by tomorrow, though I have errands to run later today that will be easier to do by foot than by car, so hopefully walking around for an hour this afternoon won't aggravate it too much. We'll see.
Yesterday's Superbowl party could have been worse....it wasn't great, I did eat bratwurst and chips and a brownie and crap, but I didn' t eat a ton, and had only 2 beers, so not terrible.
For today:
B - yogurt and a banana
L - leftover chicken and salad
D - not sure yet, I may need to go to the store
Snacks - pear, dried apricots, maybe a small handful of wasabi peas (a good crunchy savory snack, 120 calories in a serving)
I had a good weekend and have lost all my holiday weight. I'm now down lower than my lowest weight in October. Yay! I did go overboard last night, even though I didn't watch the Super Bowl. DH and I got too excited about all the fun snack food at the grocery store and bought it. I made tacos, and we also had tortilla chips, queso, guac, and we each had a drink. I finished last night at 2085, so while not great, not as bad as it could have been.
B: Nutrigrain Eggo Waffles, Morningstar Sausage, milk
L: Split pea soup, veggie chips
Congrats, bunny!
I''m doing pretty well. I took both weekend days off from working out, which I didn't intend to do, but oh well. I had to work, so that kind of blew it for me. I'm on my last day of week 1 of C25k today, so that's good. It's already gotten easier, and I look forward to starting week 2 on Wednesday.
I need to go to the grocery store, so I'm not sure what's on the menu.
Hey ladies,
My weekend was good! I joined the gym on Friday, and I went for an hour and a half yesterday. It felt great. I did half an hour on the arc trainer (similar to an elliptical), lifted, and did core work. It felt great, although I'm feeling it today!
B: oatmeal, skim milk
L: taco soup, grapes
S: skim latte
I'm pissed-- some jerkoff in my office either ate or threw away my fruit. I was hungry/cranky so ate some pastry that was lying around. If only I could transfer those extra calories to the thief who started the chain of events resulting in said pastry consumption by me.
Methinks it's time for a passive-aggressive note.
And please please please send it into the website!
I'm really sorry--we had something stupid like that happen in our office too. Someone's tomatoes got eaten. Crappy.
I just finished day three of week 1, and then did 30 Day Shred video. I'm exhausted, but I feel great. I really, really want progress this time, so I hope to stick with this! Yogalates tomorrow!
