Plan my b-day: clicky poll

I'm having a really hard time making a decision in regards to my birthday this year.  So will you ladies help me?  Here's the run down:  my birthday falls on a weekday, I can't celebrate on Friday because I work, and the following Saturday is Valentine's day.  My local board voted and the consensus was NOT to combine b-day and v-day into one.

Okay - so I'm going to celebrate on my actual b-day.  Now, what should I do?  Part of me want to do a really nice dinner with wine and romance.  The other part wants my favorite italian/casual restaurant with martinis and shots galore.  So 1/2 is leaning towards adult/mature and the other 1/2 wants drunken night.

I keep thinking "maybe next year I'll be pregnant and won't be able to have any more drunken b-days."  Totally not rational but it still enters my mind.  Now vote:

  • What about combining the two?  You and K go out for a nice romantic meal and then meet friends at the bar for shots, dancing, and mayhem. Then you can top off your night with some drunken romance at home. Stick out tongue

  • Definitely keep on partying...

Like you said, you may be prego next year (fingers crossed)!

I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

  • sounds like you're really leaning towards the casual night w/ flowing drinks - so do it! :)

what are your vday plans? can you have the nice dinner and romance then?

K and I have agreed to keep vday simple so we're staying at home, but will cook a nice dinner and dessert.

The only bad thing about the flowing drinks is that it will just be K and I.  So I'm not sure how much of a party it will be.
