I love Wild Harvest Rustic American Grill. its in Glen Cove a few blocks from my house.
im also a sucker for Bennihana. Fatty Fish in Glen Cove is really good also. Wild Ginger in Great Neck is Great. and Rothmanns Steakhouse---mmmm i could live there. There is also this great seafood place in oyster bay i think. it looks like a deli or a cafeteria when you walk in. you go to the window place your order then go into a back room with plasic table cloths and eat. very cheap and oh so yummy. i cant remember the name of it!
im new to LI so i dont really know much about it
ETA: the seafood place is called South Side Fish and Clam...mmmmmmmm

I love me my chain resturants lol and Charlie Browns & Outback will always be a love in my life but....
Major's Steakhouse , not sure what town but over around Hofstra..so tasty it's rediculous

The Sage Bistro in Bellmore on Merrick Road is wonderful! DH & I only go there for special occasions since it's expensive. It's a French restaurant & it's sooo good.
La Piazza is in Merrick on Merrick Road & it's my favorite Italian place. It's reasonably priced & delicious! H & I actually had our engagment party there. : ) I think they just recently opened another one in Plainview.
I agree with Des & also enjoy my chain restaurants. We actually really like going to Hooters. I looooove hot wings!
I also love Outback. We used to go all the time. I haven't been there in ages though. Their cheese fries are so good. Now I want some!
lol, we got Outback takeout last night....I have been looking foward to the left overs all day, and now at that mention of Cheese Fries.....
i love italian food, so my favs are:
Butera's in Smithtown, Sweetwaters in Hauppauge, ?Little Vincent's in Lake Ronkonkoma=awesome pizzeria/small menu of italian food--everything is on paper plates or metal take-out tins, they only have a small selection but it's all amazing!?
