Not snowing yet, but....
almost hoping for enough today to let me stay home from work tomorrow! I used to live in West Islip, and would be amazed at how nobody from Stony Brook or the Setauket area showed up on many snow days. After living in Setauket for a year, now I see why. The ice up here bites when it snows - and there just seems to be more.

my boss is WAY to big of an A-hole to give us a FULL snow day or a go home early day. the owener of the Co is a sweetheart and always tells us to go home when its bad weather-except hes in St. Barts now. a lot of help that does us. nah its ok. i enjoy spending 3-4 hours in traffic on the LIE to go from exit 33 to 39 saying the rosary so i dont die from an 18 wheeler spinning out of control and pinning me in the HOV lane. its loads of fun!!
Ugh... that freaking LIE in a snow storm bites. And I have to go from 49 to 62. Super. My 40 minute ride will take me 2 1/2 hours. No doubt. Drive safely, girls.
ugh, i hate the snow, so glad i'm off today! ?=) ? unfortunately DH is all the way in brookville at work, so it's gonna take him forever to get home too! ? drive safely everyone!
sgt erik-- is there a neighbor or anyone you can call to watch your kid 'till the others get home??
