Ruined my birthday surprise!
First let me say that my husband is really bad about giving me receipts (I balance the checkbook) so I take them out of his wallet (he knows this)... well my birthday is Friday and there was a receipt for an iPod in there. I didn't think he would leave the receipt where I could get it! As soon as I saw the receipt I closed up the wallet but I can't stop thinking about it!
I'm super excited because I have the original iPod shuffle from YEARS ago and have never been able to actually pick what I want to listen to. I feel crappy about seeing the receipt and now I feel like I'll have to fake my reaction. Oops!

at least you are excited about the gift. the real question here is will you tell him you found the receipt before you got the gift. we have the same problem in our household. one checking account that all the bills come out of.
Ha! My DH picked up my gift (bday is 2/13) monday. He was hoe for all of 2 hours before he couldn't stand it anymore and gave me my gift.....a ruby and diamond pendant. Ruby is Emma's birthstone.
I hope you enjoy your new ipod! I love mine.......I even have music on it for the baby. She has a night night mix and a good morning mix.
I'm not going to tell him about finding the receipt. I don't want him to get bummed about that...
