Laid Off

So I'm a full time nanny which I love my job and the family I work for but last week Tuesday she lost her job which in turn is a chain effect. So now I'm out a job that I love and girls I'm so attached to. I'm really taking it hard and to find another nanny job or even a few kids in the area I could watch is really hard. I'm struggling and I'm just so worried about money DH isn't which I guess is a good thing but I am. This just sucks I hate this economy and that it isn't going to get any better. I'm just lost and don't know what to do. Sorry I had to vent! Thanks for listening

Re: Laid Off

  • I am sorry.  How far will you travel?  I know a few people in the MKE area that are in the midst of deciding if they want to have a nanny vs daycare.

  • I am sorry to hear that.  It seems like so many people are losing their jobs right now.  I hope something turns up for you, good luck.
