hey chi-town ladies,
i'm new on this board but i really just need to vent to people who know what im talking about. I live by the portillo's in orland park & always get the chopped salad from there with no onions, no tomatoes, & no cheese. EVERY single time they it up! I really have no clue why i even try anymore. everytime my husband orders it for me he stresses to everyone he talks to, to make sure that the order is right. since he is bringing it home to me & knows i will not eat it if it is wrong. for anyone who doesnt know at portillo's they physically have to put those things into the salad. they make every one of the salads to ORDER. what is sooo hard about not grabbing the spoon for those items? I have that its messed up because its just a waste of food then. my husband doesnt eat salads & it not like you can just pick that stuff out. its tossed through the whole salad. i'm really sorry for those of you who really dont care but i just reall y needed to vent about this.
Re: What is wrong with the portillo's in orland??
I live in Palos heights. My onl complaint is the long line in drive thru but they do run it pretty smooth!

I'm usually just a lurker but I had to reply to this..
I seriously can NOT stand that Portillo's. I would rather drive all the way out to the Joliet/Shorewood Portillo's than go to the Orland one any day. Any time I go through that drive through, the 20 cars behind me get their order before I do. Not to mention, they always mess up every order I've ever gotten. My thinking is, if they are taking so long to make a salad, they could at least get it right...
