Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.

Hi sorry I responded so late to your text. I was at Curves!! Boss man is a total jerk!! What happened?
Re: MIA~~~!!
So he tells me that he's noticed that I'm online more now than before. Well duh, my computer went down in December, so I've been at someone else's desk. Dumb set up, the monitor faces the door...not like mine did at my desk. Anyway, he says he sees me emailing. LOL! Like the Nest and Facebook are more problematic.
Anyway, I've heard all the sh!t before. "It's understood in Tax that we need to pull in the hours needed to get the work done and we need to be FLEXIBLE to work after 5pm and on weekend." WTH! This is exactly what I wanted to escape from at my last firm. So I'm back to the same sh!t just different office.
I'm out of here and this time I need to get out of public tax accounting, at a CPA firm.
So I applied at a private company online today. LOL!
Thanks for asking Yvette! I know I can count on you. Thanks for reading my vent too! XOXOXO
As a business owner, I can understand why an employer/boss would be upset if they saw an employee frequently online while on the clock, posting on Facebook or the Nest ... or even with a ton of personal e-mails.
Just my two cents. Good luck. Hope things get better for you.
