Anyone ever done a spray tan??
I have a wedding I am in in the end of February. I really need a little bit of color on my white body! I also have tans lines from this summer that need to be covered up! I have never done this before and just wanted to know if anyone of you has??? Any suggestions of good places would be good too! Thanks!
Re: Anyone ever done a spray tan??
I've done it twice..for my bff's wedding and for mine. I did it with my friend for her wedding and it was the first time. It came out really good, was even, and a nice color. We both loved it.
However, when we both went back to get it done (at the same place) for my wedding we both were miserable and our faces were all splotchy, and we were super dark and I vowed never to do it again. If you want I can post non-pro pics of each so you can see the difference

Okay that would be great! Thanks!!
Ok, so each picture has me next to someone that's close to what my normal skin looks like. The first picture was my friend's (Crystal) wedding day and the 2nd was my rehearsal
Needless to say, I was not a happy camper and I came close to crying but Crystal kept me sane by joking that if either of us cried the tears would probably make it worse..lol. OH, and when we went back for the touchups the girl wasn't pleased with us and she was the owner.

I've had a few of them. The first one I was really happy with, the 2nd time I did it, I wasn't happy at all. It was streaky and it was a weird color. I did it at the same place, yet different people did it each time. The first girl that did the first one obviously was good and knew what she was doing. The second girl had no clue how to blend it.
Funny story, DH owns his own paint and body shop and I got him to do a spray tan on me (b/c that's really all it is, the airgun and the coloring) and let me tell you, his turned out better on me than anyone else's did.
Both times we went wednesday/thursday before.

I much prefer being sprayed by a technician. The color comes out better and more even.
There's a nail salon over by Holywood 18 that I got it done at a couple years ago. I don't think it was more than $25.
I looked that place up on the internet and they looked very affordable! I'm glad to hear of someone that has been there before! I think I may use them! Thanks so much!
I have had it done several times....but the place I had mine done went out of business a little over a year ago It really turned out good...I looked like I had been on the islands for a week...such a pretty blended tan!
2 years ago I paid $30. It included the first total body spray....and you came back 1-2 days later for a touch up spray! Mine lasted for a little over 2 weeks.
yeah she does a great job! I know a couple of people who used her also and liked her. She will also tell you what color she thinks you should go in order to look natural
