Moving to Milwaukee- what are good places to eat, drink, and play?
Im moving up to Milwaukee and have heard that some ohe great bar streets are water and brady. I am graduating college and I want to know where would be some good places to meet people and hang out. I heard there is a young perfessional group and junior league. Also what are some names of good bars, dance clubs, small breweries, unique restaurants (i went to one really good german one when i visited). Also what are some fun places to visit while im up there?
If you have any suggestions or tips please let me know!
Re: Moving to Milwaukee- what are good places to eat, drink, and play?
I am a little out of the loop down there. Brady street is fun. Water St. is a younger crowd. 3rd ward area has a bunch of good restaurants and bars as well as Milwaukee St. Restaurants: Palms and Water Bufallo come to mind. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can chime in.
The group is the Milwaukee Young Professionals. They have a web site that lists the activities. When I was with it every month they would meet at a different bar to socialize. It was a nice way to meet people.
Welcome to Milwaukee.
You can also try the website http://www.onmilwaukee.com/ - they have a good listing of the night life/weekend activities type of stuff.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
