I have no idea, please help......
Well, I have decided to get my wife a massage for V-day but I have no idea what is the best. I have had one massage in my whole life and I hated it but she LOVED it. So I have been searching to find what is best and this is what I have found, which would you want?
Swedish
Deep tissue
Hot stones<--- we have a stone warmer that I have used on her back but she always says they are to hot, so she may not like this one ( or maybe I really don't know what I'm doing.)
4 handed
Reiki<----I'm thinking this is new.
Maybe there are more that I don't know about, but I hope you can help.
Re: I have no idea, please help......
We go to a massage school here in town.... we buy ourselves a bundle of gift certificates - about 50 typically for a cut price and then take them in on the weekends when we need to relax.
I dont know the difference in massages but I love having them prepaid and because they are students they are pretty cheap.
I guess I like quantity :P
Oh, when E wants to be romantic or sweet he gives mea massage... I always think thats sweet.
Good luck choosing a type!
I love massages - in fact that's what K and I have decided to do for v-day too! We're doing a couples massage.
Here's my two cents: massage schools are great for cheap relaxation, but the quality isn't always great. For valentine's day go for someone who isn't a beginner.
Do you have plans on the Sunday after v-day? If so, then I'd stay away from deep tissue. The next day I'm generally sore, relaxed, but sore and achy...in a good way. But I wouldn't want to walk the mall or do anything physical. Swedish is great for getting the kinks out just feeling really good. I've never had 4 handed so I can't help you there.
Swedish is a good, relaxing massage. She shouldn't be too sore after either. Enjoy!
Oh, Reiki is a great healing tool. If you dont't want a massage try Reiki and let the practitioner know you are TTC. She may gave things a boost :-)
