Blue Cross ruined my birthday
I forgot that turning 30 means a lovely gift from Blue Cross/Anthem. My monthly rate goes up in March from $109 to $174. Mother***, ugh. I was going to get an iPhone tomorrow and now I have to do a budget review and see if I can squeeze the phone in.

That effing blows. What is the reason? Are women at higher risk past 30? And I'm pretty sure our insurance rates are higher ANYWAY when we're young because we're of "child bearing" age. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
