Hello from NY, is anyone here from or living in Glendale?

Hello,

we are moving to Glendale in a few weeks and I have a few questions about the city. Is there anyone here who can answer them? TIA

  • It depends on your questions.  I've never lived in Glendale, but I hang out there a lot and I worked there for 2 years.
  • I grew up in glendale on the border of La Crescenta.  I know live in Pasadena.  However, I know Glendale fairly well, so maybe I can help.
  • i grew up in glendale as well and now live in pasadena like Marina. what are your questions?
  • Hello,

I was wondering if you guys know anything about the Avalon Communities apartments? They were suggested to us and the description on their website sounds very good, but I would love to hear some fist hand experiences if possible. Thank you

  • I looked up their website because I dont know  about them without an address.  It looks like it is in  Downtown Glendale.  Close to the freeway.  Personally, Downtown is very crowded and I would not live in that area.

Have you looked into the Glendale area, close to La Crescenta and Montrose?  That is less crowded and still close to freeway access.

However, if you want to be in the dowtown area, close to the Glendale galleria and the new outdoor mall, as well as all the good places to eat... then it is fine.

  • Hey there - I see you've picked a location to live.  Again if you have any questions about LA or you want to reminisce about NY and have a play date with the little ones, you know how to reach me!

Good luck with the move, I know you are probably busy packing up and getting ready for the x-country move!

  • Thak you all for your answers.
