I'm planning on visiting your area, can you recommend what boots/outdoor shoes you wear and coats. I'm from California and I know I pretty much dont have any heavy duty Winter clothes.
Re: Oregon visit-shoe help
When are you visiting? I would recommend any type of closed toe boots or sneakers if it's raining out. I typically wear dressy boots in the winter/early spring.
You won't need a heavy duty coat, just a light cardigan and maybe a fleece or peacoat and you should be fine. Or a waterprrof windbreaker if you know it's going to be raining.
Are you planning a hike or going skiing? Or just shopping in downtown Portland? Cause that would dictate what you need to wear...
