Just moved to San Diego
So I just moved to the area this past December, a military wife. I am currently enrolled in CCSD but I am still so lonely. It seems really hard to make friends. Anybody know a good safe way to meet people? Or any good hangouts?

We have 2 GTGs coming up in the next few weeks and you are more than welcome to join us. There is one this wednesday at Boudin Bakery at Westfield UTC in La Jolla and there is one on Sunday March 1st at Extraordinary Desserts. Check out the info in the other threads.
What part of town are you in? What base are you stationed at? I know that Pendleton has a military wives group, so you can look into stuff like that.

I could not have said it better myself. We are a great group of girls and I have become close to a lot of them. In fact, 4 of them were at my wedding! My DH is at 32nd Street (2 years, and leaves again in March)...but we live in Scripps Ranch.
Welcome! We're moving to San Diego too in 3 weeks. My husband is going to be at 32nd Street base as well. We're hoping to move to the Lakeside area though..

I've lived in San Diego for 18 years and there are still so many areas that I'm like "where the hell is that?!"

As far a DHs are concerned, unless specified the SD GTGs are typically just girls. Then again, my DH would not come even if it was a coed thing. LOL.
