Saturday I helped my son build a little better "clubhouse" in our woods. We recently bought a new place and it has 10 acres of land. Alot of which is wooded . He had started the work but I broke out the tools and we really attached stuff to make it stable.
Sunday, Sandy and I worked on clearing out some of the junk weed trees and brush from the area closest to the house. We are clearing paths throughout the woods for DJ to ride his golf cart around on. We have a pond too. So we mowed a nice area around the pond so we can enjoy a picnic out there next weekend.
So it was work work work as usual. But we are making such good progress!! The place is really shaping up!

We had our ultrasound friday and all is well with the baby. Heart beat was seen and it seems to have 2 armbuds and 2 legbuds. Looks good.
We told both sets of parents and my sil and bil this weekend. Everyone was very excited! Which was a relief!!! My mom even hinted she would be willing to watch the baby for a day each week. Yeah! For complete details look on the blog. My neice drew a great picture of the baby and herself for us. It is going to be framed and hung in the nursery!
We caught up on dvr programs on Sat and ran some errands and chilled on Sun. S has now organized all her football cards! and is working on her baseball cards.(only the rest of baseball, and all of basketball and hockey) Where we will store the now organized cards is the next question. Must clear out the crap room so it can be the baby room.

We didnt do much this weekend but it seemed to go by really quickly. Saturday we saw two movies (He's just not that into you and Gran Torino - the latter being much, much, better) and that was about it.
Sunday we had brunch with some friends, cleaned up the house, then got a random call from my aunt asking if she could stop by to talk. this is a highly unusual request so my mind was swirling with things she might possibly want to talk about ( #1 being something seriously wrong with my grandmother). Turns out, she asked us to be the legal guardian of her son if anything were to happen to her (she's a single parent) - we were totally blown away, but very flattered/honored! we, of course, said yes and spent the remainder of the day playing electronic monopoly, lol.

we had C's cousin (who was in town for work) and his family (came out to suprise him) for dinner Saturday night, and it was actually really fun. C is so kid obsessed, and so funny to watch with the little ones. The 4 yr old was IN LOVE with her and the huge box of legos she has....
Sunday we went to test out my uncle's Subaru, and had lunch with them. Also good; I wish my family was closer when I was younger since they're mostly sickly now...

Saturday - I can't even recall - lol! We woke up late, then did paperwork. I paid bills (doesn't it seem like I'm always saying that) took care of stuff like changing my name on my frequent flier account and closing a bank account. Then K went off to study and I drank wine and watched tv.
Sunday - We ran our usual errands like grocery shopping and bulk club stock up. I cooked dinner while K changed a few doors knob in the house (aren't we exciting!). Then it was a bit of tv time and bed.
I hope this upcoming 3 day weekend bring a bit more excitment to my life

This whole past week, was good but long! We love the puppy, but boy can she tire you out. Hopefully now that we're getting into our rhythm, it should be better.
We didn't do to much. Stayed close to home for the most part with a few short trips to the store, and one trip to our friends Ro & Pat's place for dinner. She's 41w pregnant and her water just broke last night! So I'm waiting for some more news.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

i took friday off because i was sick. i slept most of the morning, got up for about an hour and then fell asleep on the couch for another couple of hours. we watched the hockey game on tv and some friends stopped by for a little while.
saturday we slept in, found out that she's not pregnant, and went to the hockey game. afterward we went over to the same friends' place and played cards.
yesterday c finished some things in the bathroom. i was finally feeling better so i got my math homework done for this week and we went to the home supply store to look at paint colors.
I'm sorry hun.

We spent all of Saturday in CPR/First Aid training. It was a loooooong day, but a good refresher and required for licensing.
Sunday we were lazy, we did paperwork, debated where to move things for our home vist, watched tv and made tacos for dinner.
