(#) How was your weekends and Monday check in
Hey,
Hope everyone had good weekends. I started Week 4 of couch to 5k. It was intense, but I did it. I did it both Saturday and Sunday. I'll probably repeat it twice this week, then move on to Week 5 on the weekend.
I'm up a pound from a week ago, that's frustrating. I ate relatively well this weekend, though I did have 2 glasses of wine on Friday night and 2 beers on Saturday. I should have a quiet week though, so hopefully it will go back down.
How's everyone else doing?

WTG on the C25K!
My weekend was ok, eating-wise. We went to Philly to see my husband's grandma and to go to an uncle's birthday party, so there was a lot of food involved. I did ok, though. The real problem is that I started having back pain and more nerve pain in my leg, which is very painful and means I don't get to work out. Sucks. I'm working from home today, so I'll try to get a walk in somewhere.
Sorry to hear about your back pain, soprano, and I hope it gets better.
ESF, if you think week 4 is intense, week 5 REALLY kicks it up. I did week 5 day 1 twice this weekend (all of the days are different starting in week 5) because I felt too hungover/tired/nervous to move on to day 2. Will do so on Tuesday and let ya know. I am loving the longer runs, but they're definitely more difficult.
Food-wise was just eh. Too much beer, but at least it was lite beer?
Soprano, I'm sorry about the pain! I hope that resolves soon.
Nice job C25K ladies! I am impressed.
I was really happy because as of Saturday, I'd lost another pound over the week, putting me at a big milestone - officially 35 lbs and in the last number in the set of 10 lbs I've been in since October. Then, I proceeded to eat like a semi maniac on Saturday and SUnday. I'm back into it today, and will be working out again. 2 bad days are okay. I just want to make sure I lose something this week so I never have to see that set of 10 lbs again!
I had a pretty good weekend, except that I didn't exercise enough. I discovered Friday morning that my goggles were leaking, so I bought new ones Friday night. But I didn't make it to the pool early on Saturday, and I certainly wasn't going after I got my hair cut and styled. I tried to go swimming this morning, but my brand new goggles broke as I was trying to adjust them. Harumph! So I did step aerobics, and I'm going to exchange the goggles tonight.
We went to a wedding Saturday night, but I was the driver, so I only had 2.5 drinks. Big accomplishment for me! It was a buffet, but I got some fruit and veggies to cover about 1/3 of my plate, and another 1/3 had a piece of turkey breast. So overall, pretty good. I weigh in tonight, so we'll see.
I just looked at weeks 5 and 6. Yikes! W5 D1 doesn't look that scary after W4, but days 2 and 3 look awful. I'll definitely be taking my time before moving on!
Bunny - Congrats on hitting that milestone!
My weekend was good. I finished C25k week two on Saturday, and started week three today. It's hard! But, I'm really liking it. I'm coupling it with yogalates twice a week, which I also really like, so I feel good. Haven't lost more than a couple of pounds, but I'm still motivated, so that's good.
Eating has been good, but coulld be better. We're going to Vegas next week, so I'm going to be really good this week so I can splurge a little while we're there.
Keep up the good work, everyone!
