Romance

I am absolutely racking my brain trying to figure out what to do for Valentines Day. This year we will have the kids on V-day and have planned a date that will include them. We are going to all get dressed up and go to one of those Japense Steakhouses where they cook in front of you and buy the kids candy and a stuffed animal or something. Problem is I do  not know what the heck to do for T. We like to do personal handmade gift and/or romantic gestures for eachother and I have already used all my fabulous material and am completely tapped out for new ideas. So hopefully you ladies can help spark my imagination again.

What is the most romantic thing you have ever done for someone or that someone has ever done for you?

Re: Romance

  • I have done a few things for T that i worked really hard on. A few months after we started dating I invited her over and left a card on the door telling her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me. Then i proceeded to have her come in a have a small scavenger hunt where each location had a rose of a different color and a note. The note explained what the color of the rose signified and then i correlated it with one of the 5 senses, then it would tell her where to find the next rose. The scavenger hunt ended with us her finding me in the bedroom scantly clad hehe.

Last year for V-day i made her a memory board http://www.pulpproducts.com/cgi-local/browse.cgi?p=8 and also a  empty paint bucket from the craftstore that i decorated and labeled "Great Date Ideas" and filled with over 100 ideas for dates. Then i filled a larger bucket with a "Staying In Toolbox" which included candles, a small blanket, popcorn, one of our favorite dvds, and homemade love coupons.

  • Ahhh...you're too sweet...and I'm to tipsy to think right now (shhhh! It's my b-day...shhhh!).  If I think of something in my clearer state of mind tomorrow I will post it. :-)
