Valentine's Day Plans

Is anyone doing anything special this Valentine's Day? I want to do something special since it's our first married Valentine's Day.

I can't really think of anything too great. I was thinking maybe a nice restaurant where we can get dressed up to go.

What are your plans?

My DH will be at work all afternoon and night so I will probably spend the evening with my parents and my son! Not so exciting.

We developed a tradition of going to Wendy's and then watching a movie. Our favortie nights together are the one's we do nothing lol. Last year for our first married V-Day where we were married, has a resturant too, so we went there and did the whole dress up thing. It was nice, but the next day we went to Wendy's. It didn't feel like V-Day without it.

i really hate V-day. i dont know why i just do. H is a mushy romantic tho. we never really do anything. since its our 1st one married he wanted to do something so we are going to go to the Met to see the Art & Love in Renaissance Italy exhibit then to dinner

This is really funny, because I told H that if we couldn't decide where to go that we should just go to Wendy's. : ) It's cool that you guys have a tradition for V-day.

Gia, that sounds like a great exhibit! I love the Met. The last time I went was in the summer. DH had never been, but we spent the morning marching in a parade for his union, so we were really too tired to enjoy it. I can't wait to go back so he can really experience it.

I'm so bummed my H is on call on Valentines Day so I will most likely be visiting him at the hospital, how romantic I'm thinking of booking a couples massage or something next weekend to make up for it. But its ok because I have 5 boxes of Girl Scout cookies to keep me company lol!

A couple's massage is a great idea! H & I did that on our honeymoon and it was amazing! I had never gotten a massage before & I loved it. I would so do that again.

Sorry your H is working. I just found out mine is too. Glad you have your girlscout cookies. I have the cupcakes I made today to keep me company.
