(#) Tuesday check in

Woohoo!  I went to my weigh-in last night, and I lost 1.4 pounds in the past 2 weeks. It's a little slower than my weight loss had been, but considering those two weeks included the Super Bowl, an outing to our favorite Greek restaurant, and a wedding, I'm pretty happy with myself. I also got one pound below a number of particular significance for me, so I'm really excited. (The only downside is I have to decrease my food each day by a point.)

I had trouble getting to sleep last night, so no morning exercise for me. Not sure about tonight, as we have a couple of errands to run.

  • Congrats on your weight loss and milestone!  Yay!

I'm doing fine--worked out finally last night after taking off the weekend, and I did fine eating wise.  Still haven't solved the class night dilemma of what to eat (probably Taco Bell on the way home - boo).  I still am losing weight despite fast food, so it's okay, but still.

  • bunny, can you make some things to keep in the freezer to heat up when you get home from class?  I'm thinking a pasta bake or chili. You could even try making your own burritos to freeze, and you'd be able to use whole wheat tortillas that way. Or what about some whole grain frozen waffles, and eat them with some yogurt? You could probably pick up a cup of fruit salad at the market to go with.

  • Congrats on the weight loss!!

I had a good day yesterday.

I was going to get up and run this morning, but its 35 degrees here, so I stayed in bed.  Its never that cold here!  I don't really have proper clothes for running in that kind of weather...I'm used to it being 50 when I go out in the morning.

I've got to run a couple errands later today that can involve a long walk, so I guess I'll do that instead.  Or if it warms up later today I'll try going.

  • Congrats, bridey! A loss is a loss.

I was planning on doing W5 D3 after work today but instead am having some ladyfriends over for dinner. I went to my strength training class last night so I don't feel all that bad about taking the day off. Will definitely do D3 tomorrow and am mostly excited. Eight-minute running intervals, eeeek!

  • Hey gals,

I don't knwo how I'm doing, scale-wise, but I'll WI on Weds.  I'm eating well, despite the back problem.  I ended up doign a 4-mile walk yesterday, which felt great.  I have PT today, then I'm going to the gym.  I may just walk again.  Although, with the nice weather, I'm rather tempted just to go home and take my dog for a walk, b /c it's so pretty out!  I'll be walking 2 miles roundtrip to PT anyway...

  • I'm doing well! Workouts are going well in that I'm sticking with them and also really enjoying myself! Eating is pretty good, too!
