Where do the Stephanie Plum books start? I'm looking at Janet Evanovich's books on amazon and I'm not really sure what the name of the first book is.

They go in number sequence, so like Kellie said One for the Money, then it's Two for (something), Three...... and so forth.  Once you get one in amazon it should put the others in your recommended page.  HTH

I've been wondering that too.  Glad that it got cleared up.  What are her books about??  Does she have a ton of books in a series?  I've been kinda eyeballing her stuff too.

I have tried to get into One for the Money but just can't.  Are you a member of paperbackswap?  you can probably get teh whole series for "free"

Nope, but I need to be = the No. Shelby Co. library has a great selection of books, so I just don't have many to share. I'm interested to try them, I just don't know if I'll like them or not. I haven't checked the library to see what they have yet.

I LOVE those books!  She has 14 books out now and will come out with #15 in June.  I have read 13 of them.  You can pull up my read/to-read bookshelves on goodreads as it has them all on there and read the synopsis.

I love Janet Evanovich!! Some of her best books are the ones outside of the Stephanie Plum series! I love them!

Katie-Wendy is probably a better person to ask about reading the Stephanie Plum series in order. I have only read one or two of the Stephanie Plum books and they were out of order! But I loved them! Janet Evanovich is such a good writer!

Katie - I read them in order but I don't think it's necessary.  All of them have a few passing references of things that happened in previous books but each book has it's own plots and twists.  But they are all easy read books and they'll keep you laughing.  This is probably blasphemy, but I think that series is better than Twilight.

?This series is about Stephanie Plum, who is a single bounty hunter in New Jersey. It follows her adventures trying to catch people. There are various crazy characters and they are really funny. I first started reading them ages ago and have meant to get back into them . I just have to get started again. They seriously made me laugh out loud sometimes!

There are a lot in the series, I forget what she is up to now...it's in the teens.?
