Re: Bare Minerals?
I just bought Jane Iredale's pressed powder over the weekend and so far so good.
You might get more of a response if you post on the Fashion & Beauty board.
It did not work for me at all... it made my skin look splotchy and it made it itch like crazy! Yikes!
I got it because I'm really trying hard to avoid junk like parabens in beauty products but I noticed some of their stuff still has them along with carmine which is not a vegetarian ingredient. Ugh...
My fault - I should have asked about those things and not let myself be pushed over by their over-zealous sales girl! lol
I am going to finish up the Clinique stuff I have and then try out MyChelle make-up. I hear good stuff about their items And I can get it at Henry's or Jimbo's so no pushy sales people and I can take my time reading labels!
That's just my experience.
I am very fair (I'm English and probably have more than a little viking/Scandinavian blood in me) with light blond hair so my skin tends to be quite sensitive.
It probably works really well for some people... unfortunately, just didn't do it for me.
Thanks for the responses ladies. I've thought about getting it the past couple days and I've looked on ebay too..
Anyone know of any good sites to order it from so that it's not so expensive?
